Why Diesel Engines Need More Protection
Diesel engines run at a compression ratio of roughly 20:1 compared to 8:1 for gasoline engines. That higher compression delivers more power and efficiency, but it also creates greater heat, pressure, and carbon formation inside the engine. Left unchecked, this leads to engine knock, poor burn patterns, and fuel injection problems including clogged injectors, failing diesel pumps, restricted air filters, and EGR valve issues.
Diesel fuel is also more viscous than gasoline, making it easier for soot and contaminants to penetrate the fuel system. The result: black exhaust smoke, reduced power, and accelerated wear. zMAX disperses harmful carbon deposits throughout the engine and fuel system, improving performance, extending engine life, and reducing emissions. How to Use
Add zMAX Micro-lubricant to your engine oil and fuel every 6 months or 6,000 miles. Use in your transmission after each flush. For larger vehicles, add zMAX at your manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals. Works in gasoline and diesel engines, automatic and manual transmissions.
